drug jars: typically flat-based, ovoid or round-bellied vessels
featuring one or two handles, and a prominent, projecting tube
or pipe from which fluids may be poured. Spouted drug jars were
used to store syrups and other liquid preparations, such as mixtures
of medicinal compounds and honey.
